Over Christmas break my entire family was here for over a week. It was fantastic and only slightly exhausting. We hiked around the red hill. There are so many beautiful places on this earth. Look at that sky!

Baby Benny enjoyed the hike. It’s the best place to explore. There are so many caves and “houses”, tunnels, and “ships” to peek into. Or cliffs to fall off of, which was my fear with this one.I may have sent Max (4) and Jackson (2) through this crack by themselves. In my defense, I didn’t think they’d try and go very far. But just look at them helping each other out. Jackson’s Dad raced around to the top to prevent any accidental deaths while I watched at the bottom to do the same. After they successfully completed their mission…. they wanted to go again.
Mom made sugar cookies with lots of helpers. It was very relaxing. Lots of cousin time. These two adore each other. We had a hot dog cookout, horse riding, four wheeler razor riding good-time at great-grandpa Esplin’s corral. When I was little it was in the middle of nowhere, now it’s surrounded by houses (one of which is mine). Change is always bittersweet. I love these facial expressions. The best way to cook a hotdog.
There was also a BYU vs. UTAH football party, and… no fights broke out.
Not pictured: geo caching, lots of games, and lots of reading. A successful week.
